Call made on parents and teachers to enhance role with a view to raising students’ competence

Ginda, 26 February 2014- At a meeting he conducted with school supervisors, area administrators, heads of line ministries and school directors, Mr. Omar Yahia, Administrotor of Ginda sub-zone called on parents and teachers to enhance role with a view to raising students’ competence.

He also reminded teachers and parents to work with synergy and demonstrate complementarity so as to achieve the cherished goal.

Mr. Saleh Ahmed, head of the Education Ministry’s branch in the sub-zone, on his part said that student-teacher communication and follow-up of parents should be strengthened for gratifying outcome, besides the need of raising the awareness of the community on the merits of preschool, and that the area administrators would mount follow-up on the mobile schools targeting communities leading nomadic life.

Likewise, Mr. Omar Mahmoud, head of educational affairs in the Northern Red Sea region, disclosed that the regional branch of the Ministry has been exerting efforts aimed at meeting the growing demands for human resources, ad called on school directors to demonstrate determination pertaining to raising female students’ participation in education.

The participants of the meeting put forward comments on several issues, and asserted that they would reinforce initiatives to back up educational activities.
