Owners of service businesses in the Central region comprising members of the Association of Tourism Service Businesses have called for enhanced endeavors in a bid to develop domestic tourism.
Asmara, 1 March 2014 – Owners of service businesses in the Central region comprising members of the Association of Tourism Service Businesses have called for enhanced endeavors in a bid to develop domestic tourism. They made the call in connection with their visit to Elabered Estate Farm, during which they expressed appreciation for the favorable climatic setting and tourism resources in the area.
Among the Association members, Mr. Abel Gedle, Ms. Ruta Berhe, Mr. Michael Tekle and Mr. Samuel Gebrehawariat said that the nation is endowed with the prevalence of peace, various historical sites and other important tourism sites which have not been harnessed effectively. They further made note of the vitality of organizing group tours to such tourism hot spots, and urged the Association to put up stepped-up efforts to this end.
Moreover, the businesspersons lauded the warm reception accorded them at the Estate Farm, and stated that they would organize a similar event in the future.
