PFDJ members in Asmara city have asserted readiness to extend a helping hand to the endeavors being exerted towards realizing the cherished goals in connection with the teaching-learning process.
Asmara, 03 March 2014 – PFDJ members in Asmara city have asserted readiness to extend a helping hand to the endeavors being exerted towards realizing the cherished goals in connection with the teaching-learning process. They made the pledge yesterday at a meeting, during which Mr. Tewolde Yohanes, Head of organizational affairs in the Front’s branch in the Central region, stated that direct communal scrutiny as regards social services is being introduced, and thus starting with the educational sector.
Likewise, Mr. Eyob Araya, Head of political affairs in the branch office, pointed out that the meeting is part of the PFDJ’s initiative of promoting direct talks with community representatives and members. He further stated that such a meeting is vital as regards promoting judicious utilization of social service facilities.
According to reports presented by the Education Ministry’s regional branch, putting up enhanced endeavors remains a prerequisite pertaining to giving added impetus to educational outreach in remote areas and the renovation of schools. Moreover, the Ministry would enhance collaboration with the Health Ministry in a bid to safeguarding student health, while parental input was described crucial in nurturing virtuous and competent students.
The participants of the meeting conducted extensive discussion on the reports presented, and put forth views targeting various issues.
