PFDJ members in Khartoum assert readiness to step up participation in national development programs

Members of the PFDJ branch in Khartoum city, Republic of Sudan, have asserted readiness to step up participation in national development programs and sustain staunch resistance against external conspiracies.

Asmara, 05, march2014 – Members of the PFDJ branch in Khartoum city, Republic of Sudan, have asserted readiness to step up participation in national development programs and sustain staunch resistance against external conspiracies. They made the pledge at a meeting, during which the members of the NUEW branch and senior staff of the Eritrean Embassy were present.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Salih Seid, Head of research and development in the NUEYS, gave briefings focusing on the Union’s work accomplishments over the past years vis-à-vis the experience acquired thereof. He also explained the vitality of enhancing organizational capacity of youths and restructuring of the Union.

Accordingly, the prevailing challenges of the youth require integrated endeavors  complementary to other State affairs, and the programs charted in this regard were outlined in the course of the meeting involving scrutiny of the merits and shortcomings.

Also speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ismail Mussa, Head of Public Affairs in the Embassy, noted the timeliness and importance of the meeting, and urged the participants to exert more efforts towards attaining higher organizational capacity, and thereby reinforcing the attachment of youths with the Homeland.

The participants expressed satisfaction with the briefings, and said that they would do their level best to enhance role vis-a-vis the realization of the cherished goals.

Meanwhile, Mr. Seid Saleh held a meeting with Dr. Shogar Bashaar Shogar, Chairman of the Youth Federation of the Republic of Sudan, and Mr. Mohammed Nafie, Head of external relations for the youth of the country’s National Congress, Party,besides conducting discussion regarding bilateral relations.
