Eritrean Embassies in various countries and a number of Eritrean community members abroad are conveying messages of condolence in connection with the passing away of Maj. General Gebregziabher Andemariam (Wuchu).
Asmara, 7 March 2014 – Eritrean Embassies in various countries and a number of Eritrean community members abroad are conveying messages of condolence in connection with the passing away of Maj. General Gebregziabher Andemariam (Wuchu).
Among those who sent messages are the office of the Eritrean Embassy and nationals in the UK, the Eritrean Embassy in Kuwait, PFDJ and NUEW members as well as citizens in North America, and the Eritrean community members in South Sudan.
In their respective messages, the Embassies and nationals pointed out that the late Maj. General Gebregziabher served his people and country for more than 40 years with an exemplary sense of dedication, and that his tribute would be cherished in the hearts of the citizenry. They further voiced resolve to step up input in the nation-building process as a token of their honor of trust of the fallen heroes.
The late Maj. General Gebregziabher Andemariam who has been receiving medical treatment inside the country and abroad passed away yesterday in Asmara at the age of 64.
