High School students in Senafe sub-zone called upon to play due role as regards reducing instances of crime

The commander of Police Station in Senafe town, Capt. Beraki Teklemariam, has called on High School students to play due role as regards lowering instances of crime.

Senafe, 12 March 2014 – The commander of Police Station in Senafe town, Capt. Beraki Teklemariam, has called on High School students to play due role as regards lowering instances of crime.

He made the call at a meeting with the students, during which he advised them to demonstrate higher academic competency.

Likewise, Mr. Salih Mohammed Sied, Head of the NUEYS branch in the sub-zone, indicated that an initiative has been taken with a view to nurturing versatile youths, and thus witnessing a gratifying achievement. He also urged the students to raise their awareness and enhance collaboration with the Police.

The participants of the meeting put forth a number of views.

In the same vein, Ms. Meseret Kidane, Head of the Labor and Human Welfare ministry’s branch in the sub-zone, and Mr. Hizkias Wihbet, Administrator of the subzone, said that students should strive to achieve gratifying academic accomplishments through focused efforts towards acquiring knowledge and skill knowhow. They also called for further parental follow-up in connection with the endeavors being exerted to nurture virtuous students.
