The educational institutions put in place in Logo-Anseba sub-zone expressed are providing equal educational opportunities for citizens.

Keren, 14 March 2014- The educational institutions put in place in Logo-Anseba sub-zone expressed are providing equal educational opportunities for citizens.

At an assessment meeting conducted, Mr. Tesfai Haile, head of Education Ministry’s branch in the sub-zone, indicated that educational institutions have been put in place in all 13 administrative areas of the sub-zone, and that students’ school enrollment incresing.

Directors of Daero and Festival schools, Mr. Russom Tsegai and Mr. Mulugeta Shibeshi said that in the past school drop-outs had been observed for students had to travel long to go to school, and that the existence of educational institutions in all 13 administrative areas of the sub-zone is encouraging parents to send their children to school.

From the parents’ committee, Ms. Abeba Girmai, Mr. Woldai Gebremeskel and Ms. Tsega Habte explained that the establishment of educational institutions as far as remote areas of the country attests to the commitment on the part of the Government to provide equal educational opportunity to its citizens, and called on parents to exploit the opportunity and send their children to school.
