National School Leaving Examination got underway today

National School Leaving Examination 2014 has got underway today inside the country and at the International Eritrean Community Schools in Jeddah and Riyadh.

Asmara, 17 March 2014 – National School Leaving Examination 2014 has got underway today inside the country and at the International Eritrean Community Schools in Jeddah and Riyadh.

Dr. Bisrat Gebru, Director of the National Testing Center, pointed out that the examination would continue until the 22nd of this month, and that the number of students the current examination has shown an increase as compared to that of the previous year. She went on to disclose that students who do not achieve pass marks would be accorded re-sit opportunity.

Mr. Kelit Girmai, Director of Warsai-Yikealo Secondary School in Sawa, explained that the students which represent a total of 84 schools across the nation have been carrying various preparatory activities in connection with the examination.
