At a seminar he conducted to students in Godaif sub-zone, Central region, S/Let. Gebretinsae Berhane, head of crime prevention at the 7th Police station, explained that strong awareness of the society in general and that of the youth in particular is vital for reducing the prevalence of crimes.

Asmara, 18 March 2014- At a seminar he conducted to students in Godaif sub-zone, Central region, S/Let. Gebretinsae Berhane, head of crime prevention at the 7th Police station, explained that strong awareness of the society in general and that of the youth in particular is vital for reducing the prevalence of crimes.

He also called for integrated efforts on the part of all stakeholders to identify the main causes for committing crimes and work for their prevention and control.

Ms. Aklasia Teklu, and Mr. Bereket Tesfagabir, head of the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare branch and head of social welfare in the sub-zone respectively, on their part indicated that helping needy children is part of social fabric of the Eritrean society, and called on the youth to realize their bright future through their efforts of to day.

From Kehawta School, students Nahom Mario, Frehiwot Abraha and Mical Gebremicael indicated the importance of conducting such training programs, and that they would apply the training they received practically on the ground.
