Eritrean cyclist Mekseb Debesai ranks 3rd in first tournament of tour de Settife

The renowned Eritrean cyclist Mekseb Debesai yesterday ranked third in the first tournament of tour de Settife which involved 129 km.

Asmara, 20 March 2014 – The renowned Eritrean cyclist Mekseb Debesai yesterday ranked third in the first tournament of tour de Settife which involved 129 km.

He concluded the competition lagging by 52 seconds from the co-competitor who won the second rank.

Moreover, the Eritreans Yonas Tekeste, Elias Afewerki and Aron Debretsion stood 5th, 10th and 16th respectively.

So far, the Eritrean National Cycling Team has demonstrated a dominant performance in up-hill competition in the tour.
