Eritrean community members in different countries conveyed messages of condolence in connection with the passing away of the veteran liberation fighters Brg. General Mebrahtu Tekleab (Vaynak), Brg. General Amanuel Haile (Hanjema) and Mr. Desu Tesfatsion.

Asmara, 26 March 2014- Eritrean community members in different countries conveyed messages of condolence in connection with the passing away of the veteran liberation fighters Brg. General Mebrahtu Tekleab (Vaynak), Brg. General Amanuel Haile (Hanjema) and Mr. Desu Tesfatsion.

In their messages the Eritrean community members in Holland, South Sudan, Germany, G. Britain, USA, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Qatar, Norway, and Denmark conveyed condolences to the families of the martyrs, the Government and people of Eritrea.

Likewise, Eritrean nationals residing in Kuwait, Kenya, South Africa and others expressed deep mourning for the passing away of the veteran fighters who served their country and people with commitment, and that their history and heroic feats will remain in every Eritrean citizen’s mind. They also expressed resolve to step up efforts in the nation-building process as a symbol of their honor of the trust of the fallen heroes.
