Eritrean community members in Sudanese Red Sea region extend educational facilities to the School in Mahmime

The Eritrean community members in the Red Sea region, Republic of Sudan, who have been in the Homeland to take part in the 30th Anniversary of Wiqaw Izz’s demise extended educational facilities to the Junior and Elementary School in Mahmime.

Mahmime, 28 March 2014 – The Eritrean community members in the Red Sea region, Republic of Sudan, who have been in the Homeland to take part in the 30th Anniversary of Wiqaw Izz’s demise extended educational facilities to the Junior and Elementary School in Mahmime.

Speaking at the handing session, Mr. Andemariam Gebremichael, Chairman of the Eritrea community members, pointed out that the communal scheme is aimed at backing nationals, and expressed satisfactions with the warm welcome the inhabitants of Qrora sub-zone.

Mr. Saleh Mahmoud, Administrator of Qrora sub-zone, and Abdulahi Saleh, Head of the Education Ministry’s branch in the sub-zone, stated that the initiative attests to the prevalence of the Eritrean culture of collaboration, and lauded the nationals for their input.

Among the community members, Mr. Haile Teklezgi and Mr. Hussein Mahmoud voiced satisfaction with taking in the 30th Anniversary of the demise of Wiqaq Izz, and said that the education materials would make an impact in inspiring the teaching-learning process.  They are also to sustain the initiative in a highly organized manner.
