Ugaro, 02 April 2014 – The inhabitants of Ugaro administrative area, Laelai-Gash subzone, elected local administrators.
Speaking at the opening session of the election, Mr. Gide Estifanos, Administrator of the sub-zone, called on the community members to elect fellow inhabitants who would demonstrated commitment and uprightness upon assuming the administrative reasonability of ensuring sound public service.
Also speaking on the occasion, Mr. Saleh Mohammed-Nur, Secretary of the PFDJ branch in the sub-zone, explained that such administrative style has favored impact of social service facilities vis-à-vis the way public issues are being entertained. He also urged the new elects to serve the community with dedication.
Among the inhabitants, Mr. Ristom Bekuretsion and Mr. Salbo Medhanie stated that the election process pursues a long-standing manner within the community, and expressed satisfaction with the administrative manner.
Mr. Mohammed-Ali Osman, new Administrator of Ugaro area, asserted the administrative staff’s readiness to step up efforts towards ensuring efficient public service and enhancing communal organization.
