Mendefera, 05 April 2014 – Ms. Fawzia Hashim, Minister of Justice, pointed out that stepped-up endeavors are being exerted towards keeping intact societal values and inspiring communal participation in the Ministry’s programs. The Minister of Justice made the remark at respective meetings which were conducted in Dekemhare and Mendefera cities with magisterial judges in the Southern region, during which she called on the participants to enhance role as regards peaceful settlement of legal cases.
Accordingly, follow-up of judicial procedures is due to be handled in a rather better way on the basis of new organizational structure in the future, while the Ministry is conducting trainings nationwide with a view to raising human resource capacity.
Moreover, a reference document has been prepared for magisterial juries in connection with settling individual conflicts, especially concerning issues that arise between house lords and tenant.
The participants of the meetings put forth views focusing on a number of issues.
