National Book Fair concluded

The 13th National Book Fair which was opened on March 28 in Expo Grounds in Asmara concluded yesterday.

Asmara, 07 April 2014 – The 13th National Book Fair which was opened on March 28 in Expo Grounds in Asmara concluded yesterday.

More than140 institutions related with the Print Industry took part in the event that witnessed the staging of exhibition, seminar, student activities and book sale at fair price, besides exchange of experience and other activities.

Participants of the event explained the importance of the fair vis-à-vis the teaching-learning process, and asserted that it provides a vital groundwork for nurturing the culture of reading.

According to reports, around 70,000 nationals took part in the fair which would remain open in other cities from 11th to 13th of this month.

The National Book Fair was conducted for the 13th and 5th time in Asmara and other cities respectively.
