Health Ministry’s branch in Southern region organizes training for health professionals

The Health Ministry’s branch in the Southern region organized a training course as regards prevention of communicable disease, especially HIV/AIDS for health professionals.

Mendefera, 10 April 2014- The Health Ministry’s branch in the Southern region organized a training course as regards prevention of communicable disease, especially HIV/AIDS for health professionals.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Negasi Asefaw from the branch office indicated that the training is aimed at raising communal awareness regarding the causes and consequences of the HIV/AIDS, besides promoting quality of VCT service.

Ms. Lucia Woldemariam, trainer, expressed appreciation for the spirit of enthusiasm demonstrated by the trainess, and called on them to develop their career through substantiating experience.

Among the trainees, Ms. Genet Teklemariam and Awet Kalab expressed satisfaction with the training, and assured that they would serve the community with higher commitment.

That training was given to health professionals representing the 10 sub-zones of the region.
