Inhabitants of three Administrative areas in Tserona sub-zone engage in upgrading school infrastructure
The inhabitants of Adi-Hargets, Ona-Andom and Adi-K’eren Administrative areas, Tserona sub-zone, are engaged in construction of additional class rooms for the Junior and Elementary school in Ona-Andom through mobilizing financial and labor resources.
Tserona, 17 April 2014 – The inhabitants of Adi-Hargets, Ona-Andom and Adi-K’eren Administrative areas, Tserona sub-zone, are engaged in construction of additional class rooms for the Junior and Elementary school in Ona-Andom through mobilizing financial and labor resources.
Ms. Fikadu Eyob, Administrator of Adi-Hargets area, indicated that the school has been witnessing significant increase as regards number of student admission, especially after it was upgraded to Junior level. Such a scenario called for availability of more accommodation, and hence the construction of these 4 class rooms by the community.
Among the inhabitants, Mr. Tsaedu Birhane and Mr. Tesfamariam Belai, a teacher, said that the school is rendering commendable service, and that its proximity has favored female participation in education.
