Debarwa, 18 April 2014 – The NUEYS branch in Debarwa sub-zone indicated that it organized vocational training for a total of 85 students, 44 of whom are females.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony thereof, Ms. Firtuna Gebrehiwet, in charge of follow-up of trainings in the branch office, called on the trainees to develop the skill knowhow they have acquired through experience, and that other 70 female members of the union are attending a training course as regards hair dressing.
Mr. Girmai Gebru, head of the Union’s branch in the region, pointed out that other training initiatives would be taken in the future, and called on the sub-zonal Administration to enhance role in the endeavors being made to inspire youth awareness and nurture moral virtue among them.
A representative of the beneficiaries expressed satisfaction with the training, and said that they would translate the knowledge they have acquired into practice.
