“Eritrean youth should develop mode of resistance against external conspiracies”: Mr. Yemane Gebreab, Head of PFDJ Political Affairs

In a speech he delivered at the 10th YPFDJ congress in Switzerland, Mr Yemane Gebreab, Head of PFDJ Political Affairs, said that the Eritrean national identity and advanced social justice had developed into solid power, and that the Eritrean youth living inside the country and abroad should develop mode of resistance to foil the external conspiracies that are targeting especially the youth.

Asmara, 20 April 2014- In a speech he delivered at the 10th YPFDJ congress in Switzerland, Mr Yemane Gebreab, Head of PFDJ Political Affairs, said that the Eritrean national identity and advanced social justice had developed into solid power, and that the Eritrean youth living inside the country and abroad should develop mode of resistance to foil the external conspiracies that are targeting especially the youth.

At the congress that is being conducted under the theme “United Stride for Strong Organization”, Mr. Yemane gave extensive briefing with regards the current political situation in the Homeland, and that the external conspiracies aimed at discouraging the strong Eritrean free political path is being thwarted by the staunch resistance of the Eritrean people. He also indicated that the PFDJ is exerting efforts to solidify its organizational capacity and political power making the youth its center stage.

Likewise at a seminar conducted under the theme “Strengthening the Popular Front”, Mr. Saleh Ahmedin, Chairman of National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students (NUEYS), said that the Popular Front has been the vanguard of the Eritrean revolution for independence, and that the strong force for the success of its programs have been the youth. He also called on the youth to become good example of the society.

According to reports from Information Ministry’s correspondents, different seminars are being conducted by Eritrean Ambassadors and friends of Eritrea.
The congress will continue until April 21.
