The inhabitants of Habereda area, Megolo sub-zone, expressed satisfaction with the impact the new school in the locality is registering as regards promoting literacy.

Mogolo, 22 April 2014 – The inhabitants of Habereda area, Megolo sub-zone, expressed satisfaction with the impact the new school in the locality is registering as regards promoting literacy.

Mr. Mohammed-Ali Hassan, a teacher, disclosed that the community members had provided temporary accommodations for teachers and class rooms until the finalization of the construction process so as to facilitate the teaching-learning process. Accordingly, there exist a total of 116 students, 45 of whom are females, while 70 mothers in the locality have become beneficiaries of the Adult Education Program.

Mr. Yusuf Mohammed Adem and Mr. Abdalla Ismail, members of the school’s parents committee, said that availability of such facility attest to the government’s commitment towards ensuring equitability of educational service. They also expressed readiness to step up participation to this end.

Mr. Mohammed Idris, Administrator of the area, lauded the initiative taken by the government, and assured the inhabitants’ readiness to extend a helping hand towards upgrading the school’s facilities.
