Inhabitants of Lahzien area express satisfaction with service by health station

The inhabitants of Lahzien Administrative area, Foro sub-zone, have expressed satisfaction with the service the health station in the locality is rendering and the impact it has registered as regards raising community awareness on health issues.

Foro, 23 April 2014 – The inhabitants of Lahzien Administrative area, Foro sub-zone, have expressed satisfaction with the service the health station in the locality is rendering and the impact it has registered as regards raising community awareness on health issues.

They further explained that availability of such facility attests to the government’s commitment towards promoting societal wellbeing, and stated that the health station is extending commendable service with a major emphasis on mother and child care.

Among the community members, Ms. Seada Osman, Ms. Saedia Osman and Mr.  Saleh Omar said that community sensitization campaigns by the health station have borne raised popular awareness on health issues including the harmful customary practices. Accordingly, the number of mothers who are admitted to the health station for delivery is on the rise in this connection.

Ms. Seada Shifa, Associate nurse, disclosed that the health station is rendering pediatric, maternity, immunization and other services.
