The Administration of Areza sub-zone indicated that basic social service facilities that comply with distribution of the inhabitants have been put in place in the locality.
Areza, 24 April 2014 – The Administration of Areza sub-zone indicated that basic social service facilities that comply with distribution of the inhabitants have been put in place in the locality.

Mr. Andemeskel Adhanom, Administrator of the sub-zone, disclosed that there exist a total of 42 schools and 7 health institutions including a health center in the sub-zone. He further called on the community members to practice judicious utilization of the facilities.

Accordingly, the locality is not endowed with substantial underground water resources due to its nature of topography, and various micro-dams, ponds as well as wells have been constructed in a bid to meet the growing demand for water.

Areza subzone comprises a total of 22 Administrative areas that are collectively composed of 109 villages.
