Cultural and sports Week conducted in Habero sub-zone

A cultural and sport Week was conducted from 13 to 15 of this month in Aretay area involving seven schools in Habero subzone and witnessing the conducting of various activities.

Habero, 24 April 2014 – A cultural and sport Week was conducted from 13 to 15 of this month in Aretay area involving seven schools in Habero subzone and witnessing the conducting of various activities.

Mr. Mahmoud Abdel-Kadir, educational supervisor in the subzone, noted the vital impact of such event vis-à-vis exchange of experience among students and unraveling their potentials in various domains.

The event witnessed the staging of cultural and sport contests among others.

Mr. Ali Abe, head of the Education Ministry’s branch in the sub-zone, said that there is a plan to organize an event of this type for Elementary schools, and called on communities as well as government bodies in the locality to enhance efforts in the endeavors being exerted to nurture versatile and dynamic student.

In closing remarks, Mr. Saleh Haj, Administrator of the sub-zone, called on students and teachers to demonstrate higher spirit of work in the teaching-learning process.
