Senafe, 24 April 2014 – Health professionals in the health station in Golo village, Senafe sub-zone, indicated that resorting to solar energy has favored their activities.
Mr. Abdella Abdel-Kadir, head of the health station, pointed out that it is witnessing growing number of patients admissions, with a main trend in connection with antenatal and postnatal care as well as pediatric service targeting children aged below 5 years. He further called for the upgrading of the health station to a health center.
Likewise, Mr. Mohammed Abdel-Kadir, member of the Assembly of the Southern region, expressed satisfaction with the efforts being made by the Health Ministry to further outreach of health services, and called for prudent utilization of the solar panels in the health station.
Mr. Osman Ahmedin and Mr. Ismail Mohammed, inhabitants of the area, voiced satisfaction with the service being given by the health station.
Golo health station is located some 15-km. towards the east of Senafe town.
