Members of the People’s Army of the Health Ministry have conducted popular sanitation campaign on 26 April at the Orota National Referral Hospital.

Asmara, 27 April 2014- Members of the People’s Army of the Health Ministry have conducted popular sanitation campaign on 26 April at the Orota National Referral Hospital.

The popular campaign participants have been from Orota National Referral Hospital,Fred Hollows Intra Ocular Laboratory, Halibet Hospital, the central office, Farmicor, Brhan Eye Hospital, Hazhaz Hospital, St. Mary Hospital and Sembel Hospital, and that has been the continuation of the previous similar popular campaigns.

Mr. Afwerki Tesfagabir from Halibet Hospital explained the importance of such sanitation campaigns in keeping the area clean, and that the patients and staff of the Hospital have expressed satisfaction for the popular campaign.

Mr. Sereke Tesfatsion and Sister Freweini Alem from Orota Hospital on their part said that such sanitation popular campaigns have significant contribution in ensuring the health of patients, and expressed appreciation for the assistance they received from the regional sanitation office.
