Inhabitants of Logo-Anseba, Mensura, Dige sub-zones asserted readiness to step up participation in development programs

The inhabitants of Deqi-Shehay, Migrah and Adi-Ibrihim villages have asserted readiness to step up participation in implementation of development programs on the basis of highly organized communal ventures.

Logo-Anseba, 28 April 2014 – The inhabitants of Deqi-Shehay, Migrah and Adi-Ibrihim villages have asserted readiness to step up participation in implementation of development programs on the basis of highly organized communal ventures.

They further expressed satisfaction with the endeavors being made to put in place potable water supply facilities as they engage in popular soil and water conservation undertakings with a view to raising agricultural output through enriching underground water resources.

Mr. Shekhedin Saleh, Administrator of Mensura sub-zone, noted the vitality of public participation as regards the realization of the cherished development goals, and called for higher communal organization to this end.

Likewise, the inhabitants of Deqi-Shehay Administrative area are carrying out such activity which has been scheduled twice in a week, and members of the Peoples of Army are actively engaged in the task.

Tiha Abubaker from the Agriculture Ministry’s branch in Dige sub-zone disclosed that terraces have been built and holes dug for plantation of tree seedlings on an extensive area through the popular initiative, and called on the inhabitants to enhance efforts targeting afforestation.
