Youth representatives in Southern Red Sea region tour Historic Site of Burie

A total of 200 youths from all the sub-zones of the Southern Red Sea region made tour of the Historic Site of Burie where remarkable heroic feats were witnessed during the battle engagements to safeguard sovereignty of the nation.

Assab, 28 April 2014 – A total of 200 youths from all the sub-zones of the Southern Red Sea region made tour of the Historic Site of Burie where remarkable heroic feats were witnessed during the battle engagements to safeguard sovereignty of the nation.

Upon their visit to the monumental trenches, the youths were accorded briefings as regards how the victories could be achieved.

Among the youths, Awet Gebre, Hussein Mohammed, Osman Mohammed-Ahmed, Zeineb Reshid and Dawood Saleh expressed appreciation for the steadfastness and patriotism demonstrated by the Eritrean youth in the battle field. They further called for the organizing of more tours of this type in the future.
