Call made on Government bodies to extend a helping hand towards nurturing virtuous youths

The Administrations of the 5th Police Station in Asmara and the NUEYS branch in Tiravello sub-zone have called on government bodies to extend a helping hand towards nurturing virtuous youths.

Asmara, 30 April 2014 – The Administrations of the 5th Police Station in Asmara and the NUEYS branch in Tiravello sub-zone have called on government bodies to extend a helping hand towards nurturing virtuous youths. They made the call at a seminar with students in Keih-Bahri Secondary School, Asmara, during which Akhedir Mohammed-Nur, head of crime investigation in the police station, and Meron Abraham, head of the Union’s branch, called on them to demonstrate higher commitment in their academic pursuit as well as moral conduct.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Werish Kidane, school director, stated that stepped-up endeavors are being on the part of the Government in a bid to promote versatility of the youth. He further called on the students to effectively utilize the free education opportunity accorded them at government expenditure.

Likewise, Mr. Haile Meles, Administrator of the sub-zone, said that more promotional campaigns should be conducted in this regard.

The students expressed satisfaction with the seminar, and called for the organizing of more meetings of this type in the future.
