The Eritrean community members in Khartoum expressed readiness for higher national resolve at a seminar they conducted last Monday in the premises of the new community building in the city. Asmara, 01 May 2014 – The Eritrean community members in Khartoum expressed readiness for higher national resolve at a seminar they conducted last Monday in the premises of the new community building in the city.

Speaking at the meeting in which around 600 nationals took part, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, Charge’d Affairs in the Eritrean Embassy in Sudan, gave extensive briefings regarding the accomplishments being registered in the Homeland and popular resistance against external conspiracies. He further lauded the active role being played by nationals residing abroad to this end, and called on them to step up participation.

Mr. Ismail Mussa, head of public and community affairs in the Embassy, stated on his part pointed out the need of strengthening the community’s organization vis-à-vis that of the branches of national Associations, and said that further efforts should be exerted towards raising the number of members of the community.

The seminar participants reiterated readiness to mount staunch resistance against external conspiracies.
