The Water Department conducted training as regards management and maintenance of potable water supply facilities for a total of 17 nationals from all the regional Administrations.
Asmara, 01 May 2014 – The Water Department conducted training as regards management and maintenance of potable water supply facilities for a total of 17 nationals from all the regional Administrations.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Misgina Gebresilasie from the office indicated that the training involved technical aspects regarding installation of all types of water pumps and others, and that it is aimed at raising communal awareness in this regard.
Mr. Risom Teklemariam, trainer, pointed out that vitality of the training pertaining to ensuring sustainability of potable water supply and inspiring community awareness, and called on the trainees to translate the knowledge they have acquired into practice.
The beneficiaries of the training on their part expressed satisfaction with it, and said that they would share the knowledge as well as skill knowhow they have acquired with fellow community members.
The trainees received certificates from Mr. Mebrahtu Eyasu, Head of the Water Department, who urged them to play due role as regards ensuring sustainability of potable water supply projects.
