Republic of Sudan’s Federal Minister of Health arrives in Asmara for working visit

Mr. Bahar Idris Abu Garda, the Republic of Sudan’s Federal Minister of Health, arrived in Asmara today for a working visit.

Asmara, 02 May 2014 – Mr. Bahar Idris Abu Garda, the Republic of Sudan’s Federal Minister of Health, arrived in Asmara today for a working visit.

On his arrival at Asmara International Airport, he was accorded warm welcome by the officials of the Eritrean Ministry of Health including Ms. Amina Nur-Hussein, Health Minister.

Mr. Bahar pointed out that the visit is in tune with the growing relations of partnership between Eritrea and the Republic of Sudan, and that it is aimed at conducting discussing as regards exploiting mutual technical and educational opportunities in the domain, besides laying groundwork for higher collaboration.

In the course of his stay here, the Republic of Sudan’s official would conduct meeting with various Eritrean officials in general and the Minister of Health in particular, while he would visit Orotta National Referral Hospital, the Regional Referral Hospital in the Southern region and Fred Hollows AOL Factory.
