Ms. Amina Nur-Hussein conducts meeting with Republic of Sudan’s Federal Minister of Health

The Minister of Health, Ms. Amina Nur-Hussein, conducted meeting with Mr. Bahar Idris Abu Garda, the Republic of Sudan’s Federal Minister of Health, today focusing on fostering bilateral relations of cooperation.

Asmara, 03 May 2014 – The Minister of Health, Ms. Amina Nur-Hussein, conducted meeting with Mr. Bahar Idris Abu Garda, the Republic of Sudan’s Federal Minister of Health, today focusing on fostering bilateral relations of cooperation.

In the course of the meeting, both sides extensively discussed implementation of the mutual agreements as regards partnership in sector of health signed by both Governments in 2012, in addition to the existing opportunities concerning different technical and educational dimensions within the domain.

Following the meeting, a Republic of Sudan’s delegation headed by Mr. Bahar Idris Abu Garda visited Orotta National Referral Hospital accompanied by the officials of the Eritrean Ministry of Health including Ms. Amina Nur-Hussein, and they were accorded briefings by health experts.

The delegation also visited the Southern region’s Regional Referral Hospital in Mendefera.

The Republic of Sudan’s Federal Minister of Health arrived yesterday in Asmara for a 3-day working visit.
