Inhabitants of Engel area demonstrating higher follow-up on children’s academic activities: Report

Reports indicated that the inhabitants of Engel Administrative area, Gelalo sub-zone, are demonstrating higher follow-up on children’s academic activities.

Gelalo, 10 May 2014 – Reports indicated that the inhabitants of Engel Administrative area, Gelalo sub-zone, are demonstrating higher follow-up on children’s academic activities.

They further explained that the efforts exerted towards furthering educational service are part of the government endeavors seeking improvement of societal livelihood. Accordingly, community input in adult education activities has become significant.

The community members also expressed satisfaction with the positive impact which social service facilities in the area are making, and expressed conviction that students in the area would become more productive taking the free educational opportunity as a stepping stone.

Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed, School director, stated that communal awareness regarding education is on the rise, thus favoring the number of school registration, especially on the part of females.
