Seminar conducted in Forto-Sawa sub-zone with a view to promoting number of school registration

A seminar has been conducted in Forto-Sawa sub-zone with a view to promoting number of school registration in general and that of females in particular.

Forto-Sawa, 12 May 2014 – A seminar has been conducted in Forto-Sawa sub-zone with a view to promoting number of school registration in general and that of females in particular.

In the seminar in which representatives of government bodies and national Associations, religious leaders, as well as community representatives participated, it was stated that a number of inhabitants have become beneficiaries of the government endeavors exerted towards promoting educational outreach in the locality. The putting up of more effort was also described as a prerequisite for still more gratifying outcome.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Mohammed Idris Mohammed, head of the Education Ministry’s branch in the sub-zone, disclosed that a number of schools, one of which is a Boarding School, are rendering commendable service from Elementary to High School level. He went on to state that  concerted action should be taken to promote effective utilization of the available educational facilities for a better impact on the community.

The seminar participants put forth views focusing on several issues.
