Eritrean community members in Bologna and environs express readiness to mark 40th anniversary of Bologna Festival with zeal
The Eritrean community members in the Italian city of Bologna and its environs have expressed readiness to mark the 40th anniversary of Bologna Festival with zeal. They made the pledge at a meeting last Sunday, during which Mr. Rusom Gebregiorgis, Eritrean Consul in Italy, and Mr. Girmai Habtemichael, Head of public and community affairs in the Eritrean Embassy, gave briefings focusing on the preparations being made for the event and lauded the communal input thereof.
Asmara, 13 May 2014 – The Eritrean community members in the Italian city of Bologna and its environs have expressed readiness to mark the 40th anniversary of Bologna Festival with zeal. They made the pledge at a meeting last Sunday, during which Mr. Rusom Gebregiorgis, Eritrean Consul in Italy, and Mr. Girmai Habtemichael, Head of public and community affairs in the Eritrean Embassy, gave briefings focusing on the preparations being made for the event and lauded the communal input thereof.
The participants of the meeting stated that they deem participation in the event as part of the national obligations and State affairs, and asserted that they would enhance role to this end.
Moreover, Prof. Gideon Abai gave briefings as regards the concerted action taken against external conspiracies vis-à-vis popular participation, besides urgingd the community members to raise awareness and put an end to external acts of conspiracy.
The community members also exchanged views towards keeping intact harmony, raising awareness and demonstrating higher input in State affairs.
