NUEYS branch in Haikota sub-zone exerting efforts towards enhancing youth role in development activities

The branch of the NUEYS in Haikota sub-zone said that it is exerting efforts towards enhancing youth role in development activities on the basis of raising organizational capacity.

Haikota, 14 May 2014 – The branch of the NUEYS in Haikota sub-zone said that it is exerting efforts towards enhancing youth role in development activities on the basis of raising organizational capacity.

Mr. Daniel Teshome, head of the branch office, stated that various activities are being conducted in a bid to inspiring relations between students and civil servant youths and thereby raising their input in national development programs.

Mr. Aregai Mebrahtu, Acting Administrator of the sub-zone, called on youths to raise awareness and effectively utilize the available opportunities as well as resources. The government’s investment on the youth is one of the proprieties, he added.

Mr. Gide Soquar, in charge of the Union’s branch in Gash-Barka region, on his part disclosed that endeavors put up with a view to laying groundwork for youths to raise political awareness have given rise to a gratifying outcome. He further urged youths to prove higher participation in the nation-building process.
