Asmara, 16 May 2014 – The participants of the 23rd Independence Day celebrations said that the people’s harmony and lifestyle has added fervor to the event.
The official ceremony of Independence Day began yesterday witnessing parade of the National Marching Band and karaoke as well as other cultural shows.
The participants, comprising citizens from abroad and nationals of other countries, further expressed satisfaction with the ceremony and the way nationals inside the country and abroad are involved.
Different cultural shows are being staged by Administrative areas and cultural troupes in connection with the momentous Day.
Meanwhile, the show that would be staged at Bahti-Meskerem Squire would be open for all nationals, according to a report by the National Holidays Coordinating Committee.
