Ginda, 20 May 2014 – The residents of Ginda town have asserted readiness to sustain input as regards safeguarding the nation’s dignity and demonstrating active participation in the implementation of national development programs.
They made the pledge in connection with 23rd Independence Day anniversary celebrations, during which the residents reiterated readiness to bequeath national values to youths.
Among the residents, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed and Ahmed Ibrahim stated that they have been working with commitment to mark of the momentous Day in a manner that depicts the steadfastness demonstrated by the Eritrean people in armed struggle for independence and safeguarding the nation’s dignity.
Mr. Tewolde Tesfazgi, Head of finance and administration in Ginda sub-zone, indicated that sports and cultural activities have been conducted in the town as well as other areas of the sub-zone in connection with the event, while such activities would continue at sub-zonal level tomorrow.
He further expressed appreciation for the active participation demonstrated by the residents in organizing the ceremony.
