Sub-zones in Central region celebrate 23rd Independence Day anniversary with zeal
Reports indicated that the inhabitants of all sub-zones in the Central region are celebrating the 23rd Independence Day anniversary with higher patriotic fervor on the basis of communal festivities.
Asmara, 22 May 2014 – Reports indicated that the inhabitants of all sub-zones in the Central region are celebrating the 23rd Independence Day anniversary with higher patriotic fervor on the basis of communal festivities.
A total of 41 community festivities have been organized in the sub-zones of Godaif, Gejeret, Serejeka, Paradiso, Sembel, Tsetserat, Geza-Banda and Akria.
Speaking on the event, Administrators of the sub-zones gave briefings focusing the work accomplishments being registered involving higher communal participation vis-à-vis the cherished national development goals. They also lauded the manner the Day is being celebrated by all communities.
The participants of the events comprising youths and elders noted the way nationals cherish national independence, and said that the nation would experience higher development thanks to the people’s virtue of work.
