Eritrean nationals residing in Washington DC, conducted peaceful demonstration on 23 May in solidarity with the 23rd Independence Day celebration in the homeland.

Asmara, 24 May 2014- Eritrean nationals residing in Washington DC, conducted peaceful demonstration on 23 May in solidarity with the 23rd Independence Day celebration in the homeland.

The nationals gathered at the road leading to the Eritrean Embassy in Washington carrying different placards portraying the staunch resistance of the Eritrean people against external conspiracies and the efforts being exerted for the bright future.

Eritrean nationals residing in Washington Dc and its environs were also scheduled to conduct the 23rd Independence Day celebrations to day.
