Eritrean community members in South Sudan and Israel celebrated the 23rd Independence Day anniversary with patriotic zeal, and reiterated readiness to mount resolve in State affairs.
Asmara, 26 May 2014 Eritrean community members in South Sudan and Israel celebrated the 23rd Independence Day anniversary with patriotic zeal, and reiterated readiness to mount resolve in State affairs.
The events witnessed participation of many community members, besides diplomats and officials of the governments of South Sudan and Israel respectively.
Speaking at the ceremony in South Sudan, Mr. Tekle Gebremeskel, Executive of Embassy Affairs in the Eritrean Embassy in the country, explained that the specialty of the event lies on the fact that anti-Eritrea conspiracies have ended up in fiasco while the nation’s right image and development path became apparent.
Likewise, Mr. Solomon Gebrehiwet, Chairman of the Eritrean community in South Sudan, voiced the nationals’ pledge to sustain participation in State affairs.
Meanwhile, the Eritrean Ambassador to Israel, Mr. Tesfamariam Tekeste, urged the nationals to prove higher organization as well as awareness, and thereby raise input in the nation-building process.
The events witnessed performances by cultural troupes from the Homeland.
