The Education Ministry’s branch in Gel-Alo sub-zone indicated that schools in remote areas are witnessing visible increase as regards number of school registrations.
Gelalo, 27 May 2014 – The Education Ministry’s branch in Gel-Alo sub-zone indicated that schools in remote areas are witnessing visible increase as regards number of school registrations.
Mr. Idris Horie, Head of the branch office, pointed out that 3 schools have been put in place this year, and that the current number of schools in the sub-zone stands at 30.
Accordingly, community awareness regarding education is on the raise.
Mr. Idris went on to explain the vitality of further promotional activities targeting harmful customary practices affecting women and Adult Education. He further expressed appreciation for those who made remarkable input in the teaching-learning process, and called for higher endeavors for a still more gratifying outcome to this end.
