Development accomplishments in Hagaz sub-zone through participation of communities and People’s Army attest to integrated work: Report

The members of the People’s Army in Hagaz sub-zone indicated that development accomplishments registered in the locality in collaboration with communities attest to integrated work, besides the fact that they constitute a steppingstone to further achievements.

Hagaz, 28 May 2014 – The members of the People’s Army in Hagaz sub-zone indicated that development accomplishments registered in the locality in collaboration with communities attest to integrated work, besides the fact that they constitute a steppingstone to further achievements.

They also disclosed that they are engaged in construction of micro-dams, terraces, water catchment walls and diversion canals, as well as renovation of dirt roads on the basis of a joint venture with communities.

The inhabitants of the sub-zone indicated that the communal activities have made significant impact as regards meeting water demand for livestock and humans, and lauded the active participation of the members of the People’s Army. Moreover, the construction of 3 dams has gained momentum thanks to such popular input.
