Mothers among the Eritrean community in Italy have asserted readiness to back up endeavors for organizing 40th Anniversary of Bologna Festival, which ceremony is due to be conducted from 4 to 6 June.
Asmara, 28 May 2014 – Mothers among the Eritrean community in Italy have asserted readiness to back up endeavors for organizing 40th Anniversary of Bologna Festival, which ceremony is due to be conducted from 4 to 6 June. They made the pledge at a recent meeting with Mr. Rusom Gebregiorgis, the Eritrean Consul in Milan, during which he gave briefings regarding the objective situation in the Homeland, pace of the national development programs and consular services.
Mr. Rusom further called for higher community resolve against external conspiracies vis-à-vis organizational capacity. He also said that Bologna Festival has historical significance in connection with women’s role in the armed struggle for independence, and that the preparations to mark its forthcoming anniversary are at finalization stage.
