Renovation of bridge in Azhara area underway following damage by heavy water flow

The renovation of a bridge in Azhara area, Afabet sub-zone, is underway through collaboration among communities, members of the People’s Army and Red Sea Construction Company following its damage by heavy water flow.

Afabet, 28 May 2014 – The renovation of a bridge in Azhara area, Afabet sub-zone, is underway through collaboration among communities, members of the People’s Army and Red Sea Construction Company following its damage by heavy water flow.

Mr. Tesfatsion Tesfagabir, staff member of the construction company who is in charge of the project’s follow-up, disclosed that the bridge is 100 meters long, and that the process has reached finalization stage.

One of the members of the People’s Army who are engaged in the undertaking, Mohammed Mahmoud stated that around 100 members are working on daily basis for 6 hours, thus attesting to the EDF members’ indispensable input in national development.
