Veteran fighter Amanuel Gebresilasie, Head of National Railway Project, passed away today at the age of 59.
Asmara, 28 May 2014 – Veteran fighter Amanuel Gebresilasie, Head of National Railway Project, passed away today at the age of 59.
The late Amanuel joined the ELF in January 1975 and the EPLF in 1977, and served the people with commitment in various capacities since then including his remarkable service as Head of the Railway Project since 1997 to the date of his departure.
The funeral service of the departed Amanuel would be conducted tomorrow at Asmara Patriots Cemetery.
The late veteran fighter Amanuel is married and father of three.
In this connection, the Ministry of Transport and Communications conveys condolence to the family members of the departed Amanuel and his companions.
