Central region: School administrations called upon to play due role as regards nurturing versatile youths

The Administration of the Second Police Station in Asmara city has called on school administrations and teachers to play due role as regards nurturing versatile youths. It made the call at a seminar in Isaac Tewoldemedhin Secondary School, during which parents and teachers took part.

Asmara, 29 May 2014 – The Administration of the Second Police Station in Asmara city has called on school administrations and teachers to play due role as regards nurturing versatile youths. It made the call at a seminar in Isaac Tewoldemedhin Secondary School, during which parents and teachers took part.

Speaking at the meeting, Maj. Woldu Zeweldi, Commander of the Station, pointed out that students should demonstrate higher moral conduct and bide by law, in addition collaborating crime prevention. He equally called on parents and school administrations to prove higher commitment to this end.

Accordingly, various promotional activities have been conducted with a view to raising the awareness of the youth in a bid to inspire sense of disciple among them.

Participant parents noted the vitality of such seminars vis-à-vis promoting the all-round awareness of students.

Moreover, students expressed satisfaction with the seminar, and called for the organizing of more seminars in the future.
