The inhabitants of Mensura sub-zone have constructed pedestal bridge crossing Mergrgit River in collaboration with members of the People’s Army with a view to solving the transpaort problems they have been encountering on the spot during the rainy season.

Mensura, 29 May 2014 – The inhabitants of Mensura sub-zone have constructed pedestal bridge crossing Mergrgit River in collaboration with members of the People’s Army with a view to solving the transpaort problems they have been encountering on the spot during the rainy season.

Speaking at finalizing of the undertaking, Mr. Shekhedin Saleh, Administrator of the sub-zone, pointed out that a number of accomplishments could be registered on the basis of a joint venture between the community members and members of the People’s Army in the sub-zone.

Mr. Humed Fegi, head of economic development in the sub-zone, stated that the initiative constitutes part of the ongoing popular activities involving the members of the People’s Army. He further expressed appreciation for the active participation of the community members witnessed in all the aforementioned undertakings.

Likewise, Mr. Abubaker Humed, member of the Assembly of Anseba region, explained that the fulfillment of task attests to the prevailing high organization and collaboration between communities and the People’s Army, in addition to expressing conviction that the putting in place of such facility would give rise to viable transportation service in the area.
