Molqi sub-zone: Youths called upon to play due role in national development programs

The Agriculture Ministry’s branch in Molqi sub-zone, called on youths to play due role in the realization of the cherished nation development goals.

Molqi, 30 May 2014 – The Agriculture Ministry’s branch in Molqi sub-zone, called on youths to play due role in the realization of the cherished nation development goals.

It made the call at a meeting with students and youths in the sub-zone, during which Mr. Weldeyesus Tekie, head of the branch office, pointed out that remarkable accomplishments have been registered involving higher participation of youths. He further called on them to sustain efforts for a still more gratifying outcome to this end.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Haile Tesfamariam, Head of the PFDJ branch in the sub-zone, called on government bodies and communities to step up endeavors towards raising youth awareness and nurturing culture of work among them in a bid to inspiring their participation in national development programs. He also urged students to demonstrate higher competence in their academic pursuit.

The participants of the meeting asserted readiness to sustain input in soil and water conservation activities, as well as protection of forests in the locality.
