74 members of the Police Force obtain training in crime prevention and traffic law

A total of 74 members of the Eritrean Police Force who have been attending training course in crime prevention and traffic law in the Training Center in Dekemhare city graduated last Thursday.

Asmara, 31 May 2014 – A total of 74 members of the Eritrean Police Force who have been attending training course in crime prevention and traffic law in the Training Center in Dekemhare city graduated last Thursday.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Maj. Woldegebriel Andegiorgis, Head of police academy in the Training Center, disclosed that the training involved practical and theoretical aspects, and lauded the enthusiasm of the trainees. He also called on them to demonstrate higher sense of discipline, patience and commitment in their career.

Likewise, Mr. Ansom Musazgi, instructor, explained that the trainees have been equipped with the necessary knowledge to cope with the profession’s pragmatics, and that the training has significant impact as regards prevention of accidents and promoting safety, as well as in facilitating investigation.

The trainees asserted readiness to translate the knowledge they have acquired into practice. Those who demonstrated excellence in the training also received awards.
